I am an artist and a teacher based in Cleveland, Ohio. Cleveland, the landscape, and its communities are intertwined with my work. My inspiration comes from everyday life in this big small city in the eastern part of the mid-west. I'm interested in the spiritual and mystical side of the mundane places and events that surround me. In our fast moving world, slowing down is counter cultural. I am interested in what happens when people can slow down and exist with each other without the mediation of technology. In my work I seek to reflect what is holy in the daily.
